User Data Deletion Instructions

How to request deletion of your Myven account, Meta connection, and Instagram/Facebook integration data.

Request Myven account or personal data deletion

  1. To request deletion of your Myven account or personal data, email support@myven.app. If account deletion is available in your dashboard, you may also use that in-product flow.
  2. Include the account email address, Myven username or public page URL, and information that helps identify the connected Instagram/Facebook account. Do not send passwords, access tokens, verification codes, or other secrets.

Disconnect Meta/Facebook/Instagram

  1. If the Myven dashboard shows a disconnect action, use it to disconnect Meta or Instagram first.
  2. You may also remove the Myven app from your Facebook or Instagram settings.
  3. After removing the app on the external platform, contact us through this page if you need Myven-side integration data deletion.

Data that may be processed through Meta integration

  1. Within the scope you connect and approve, Myven may process Instagram/Facebook account identifiers, connection state, permission state, public profile information, and messages or events needed for comment and DM operations.
  2. Myven uses Meta integration data only as needed to provide the service, protect security, support customers, respond to errors, and run automation flows configured by the user.

Deletion and anonymization principles

  1. Under Myven account deletion policy, account deletion is handled through soft deletion and anonymization of direct identifiers, not an immediate promise to physically delete every database row.
  2. After deletion, login is blocked and personal public output such as public profiles is removed from normal public reads. Non-identifying or minimum necessary records may be retained for required periods for legal compliance, security, dispute response, settlement, or similar purposes.

Request receipt and status check

  1. Deletion requests are received at support@myven.app. After we review the request, we will provide receipt confirmation, any additional verification needs, and processing status through the same email thread or a separate notice.
  2. Processing may be delayed if the request does not include enough information to verify ownership or identify the account. When processing is complete, we will reply with the completion status or any remaining action required.
